Thanks so much Sheila, I'd watched Monty last night saying his favourite plants were primroses. I can see why, they're so joyful after the grey and cold of winter..:)
That's an old pot Julia, one Ian bought at a sale room when we first moved here, I love it!
It is Shirley, and each spring the ones we've forgotten about, put on such a show to herald it for us.

Really lovely and colourful. Primroses are special and you don't see many around now in the countryside.

Hi Linda, no, not like there used to be. They were a common site under hedgerows and in woodland, but are gradually disappearing like cowslips have...

Yes even though it's really cold, the gardens are beginning to look springlike now aren't they. I'd planned on writing a blog about all the primroses, but my best pics are on my phone which isn't allowing me to upload them. Oh joy,
