This pretty carpet of primroses cross primulas are flowering in a friend's garden and as summer approaches, new little plantlets pop up expanding it even further..

So beautiful Janey, and they all blend in so well with each other. Just to let you know,I sowed some of the Dahlia seeds you kindly sent me last year, and they are doing really well..only six germinated, but it will be plenty, for where I want to plant them.Already potted on into single cells ..:o) thank you so much.. xx

That's great Sandra! Im so pleased that you've managed to grow a few. It's quite a tall dahlia, 3 to 4ft, I'm sure you'll love it. xx

They will be ideal for the pots I have in mind for them ,Janey. maybe as a centrepiece, with surrounding trailing plants. ?.Did you grow yours in pots or in a border, and would they need staking please ? any advice welcome .:o) x

Thank you Amsterdam and Linda...:))
Yes they'll look gorgeous in pots Sandra!
Mine is in the garden after I'd moved it last year to it's new position which is in full sunshine. Better than before, as it was a bit shady.
I remember staking it September time when the flowers were heavy. I think in the pots they'll be restricted more so maybe you won't need to stake them...xx

Thank you Janey,I will play it by ear,and see how they grow, but I do usually stake some plants in advance,if they are likely to get a bit out of hand.I'm really looking forward to seeing them this summer :o) xx
