Glorious Freesias from a kind friend

Sheila, many moons ago when Michael lived in a tiny flat, I used to buy Freesias from the market across the road to scent the place. It was years later he confessed he couldn't smell them! Strangely, the scent of Freesias bypassed my Mum too . . . how odd!

Shirley, my OH can’t smell them either! Such a shame but I’m loving them ... 🙂.

Beautiful Freesias, Sheila! Just this week some have just opened on our balcony! Hadn't occurred to me to smell them! Not even when I got down on my knees so as to get a close up shot!

(I can hear you! Men! What have they got noses for? 😂 😂 😂)

Ha ha Balcony! Usually with Freesias you don’t even need to get up close ... their scent seems to waft around freely, really lovely.

Mine must be sentless then! I was on the balcony for around an hour in the lovely warm sunshine & I took a couple more photos of the Freesias as another flower has opened. There are some yellow buds that will open in a day or two but I didn't smell anything! 😞
