A shorter, sturdier Penstemon than most. Tough little plant!

Thanks ladies - it really is a pretty flower - a favourite of the Bees too.

K, it has been a really mild Autumn this year, temps. have been far higher than normal for end of November. They are forecast to drop soon though . . . then we will have the cold weather I remember from my youth!

I had this but it didn't come through the wet winter several years back now.
The Pensham series produced much sturdier plants. there are some lovely colours in the range.

A lovely variety.

Josie, I have some rooted cuttings of it. Hopefully they will survive the Winter ... :o)

Lovely flower Shirley. Hope the cuttings survive the winter. I used to take cuttings from my plants when I grew them in the garden. I now put any cuttings I take in my conservatory for the winter. Yours cuttings ought to be o.k. in a frost free place.

I hope so ... just went to the greenhouse (11am) to find it was 40 degrees ... not too bad as it's out of the wind!
