I love anemones and manage to buy about one little bunch a year! Maybe I should try and grow a few too.

These are quite strong, tall growers, ladies, so might be worth a try if you see them. Other bulb sellers have them too. I soak them before planting and they've come back reliably - a rare thing for me, too!

Wow Ange, what a beautiful colour!

I think so, Rose. It looks a different shade depending on the light. Sometimes russet, sometimes plum, sometimes cherry. And largish flowers, too.

Wonderful Ange … I’m tempted to look out for them. (A similar colour to my new Hyacinth bulbs - ‘Beetroot’!)

That’s a gorgeous rich colour, Ange. It’s such an apt colour for ‘this’ time of year, never mind Spring! Looking forward to seeing them when they bloom!
