Isn't it just? One of my friends hates it, Sbg, because she thinks it's spooky. It can feel unnerving, I don't know why.
An ancient beech tree on the embankment has been adorned with ribbons. It seems people still need the numinous. We fool ourselves when we consider ourselves 'advanced' in all aspects, I suspect!
