Roas 'Iceberg' climber.

Roas 'Iceberg' climber.

Planted in Spring last year to climb up an arch. Flowering well, sadly the arch blew over in a storm!

Iceberg is a lovely rose with its pure white blooms & pale green, almost spindly branches & foliage. 😀 Shame your arch blew over though! Hope you were able to right it again. This rose will look lovely on it in the summer! 😀

Lovely rose and should do you proud again next year.

Thanks Paul ... it was a street market buy in Chichester last year ... only £4 ... :o)

David, the arch is no more as the base of it had rotted and splintered. My plan is to place a tall obelisk each side of the pathway.

Linda, here's hoping!

Perhaps "a tall obelisk each side of the pathway" may even be better than a arch! 👍😀

We shall see ... with the high winds we are having right now it's a wonder anything is still upright!

The winds are also causing us problems as well! They made it very difficult to do anything on the balcony! Besides our street is well know here for being very windy!

Gorgeous one, Shirley! Love the 'ice' whiteness of it.
I remember you losing your arch..an obelisk on either side will be very apt.

Kate, we are trying to decide what type of obelisks to get, as in the strong winds and storms of late, the lightweight metal ones leaned over. I guess much sturdier ones will be needed!
