Josee, thank you. No, we won’t try to go so far from home next Christmas. Even before we got back, OH was saying “Binham next year I think!” (2 hours - a bit more sensible).

Thanks Shirley, the volume of traffic is crazy isn’t it. My sister lives in Ferndown, Dorset, but they rarely get to the beach because of local traffic jams 🙁.

Your photo looks so peaceful. Glad you arrived home safely. i think it was awful of the workers to strike like they did especially at this time and after covid, when everyone wants to be with their loved ones or just to be able to get away. If they all get lots more pay it will only increase the inflation again.....I'll say no more.
