One of my favourite little birds. P'raps it's looking for spiders around the window surround. I spent some time a couple of days ago conversing with a singing robin while I was out on my walk. He was quite close so I could hear all the cadences of his song. I hope no-one was watching me out of their bedroom windows - my eccentricity would be confirmed!

We have a Robin we call to when we are near the river and we give him some food. Lovely photo and love these little birds. We see them now and again here.

Lucky you having longtail tits in the garden!
We used to have a flock of them visit most days in the Laceby garden, but sadly not here.
We do however get gold finches , chaffinches and blue tits plus the resident blackie.

What a wonderful way to be woken up every morning! (Better than seagulls that we often have anyway!)

I don't relish them either! We just need a wind with a bit of an easterly component to it for them to arrive!

I don't know how far inland we are from the east coast but the gulls don't seem to find the distance much of an obstacle! But then I supposed they are used to flying a 100 miles or more in search of food.
