This is a smashing little shrub. There are the bright red berries, young white berries and tiny white lily flowers all at the same time...:)

It's around 14" I would think Julia. It's 2 years old now.
Yes I think it is Sheila, not 100% sure. I bought 2 types at the same time the other has very small leaves and is quite prickly. It has the white flowers too.

I remembered having one at Willow Cottage years ago and forgot how much I loved them, so yesterday morning sent for one, although I know you need two for the berries!
Maybe in a few weeks I will send for another!
Hope you are well and will chat soon. x

I didn't realise that Rose. I bought two as I couldn't decide which one to buy!
They are so attractive for winter aren't they, this one especially. Hope yours arrives soon.
I am thank you and I hope you are doing ok. x

Janey, I saw a lovely little Gaultheria at a nursery in Devon today (we’d come to see Wildside, but he didn’t have a plant sale) and was told that it prefers acid soil, so no good for my garden. But I found a lovely Uncinia instead 🙂.

Mine's planted in the raised bed Sheila, where I've topped up with compost and empty my plant pots in it too. My garden soil is more alkaline too. I'm going to check out the Uncinia, I've not come across it Sheila, so looking forward to seeing yours..:) x

Sounds very pretty Janey. Is this the one that prefers acidic soil?
