Kate, I think the plants must have been put out the night before we shopped as they looked so healthy. We have shopped there this morning and trays and trays of bedding are either dead or dying ... such a waste.

I think they should have one day a week of having the plants for sale, as I feel sure customers would flock in for their plants.

I think this is Mrs N Thompson. She always flowers early. Can’t be certain though. But it’s lovely!

I didn’t Shirley. Thanks for letting me know. I shan’t be having many climbers here. I’ve gone off them. I might have a few more patio clems. And I have a Hydrangea seemanii and Akebia. I think that’s enough.

A lovely one Shirley. I hope it thrives for you. What a pity about those Supermarket plants. I do wish the growers wouldn’t do everything so early. You can’t rely on English weather& not everyone has a greenhouse to put things in. I’ m not buying anything until May 12th a birthday outing.However might even not bother then if it’s a freezing cold day.
