I wish mine would grow a bit taller, with long flowers like yours. Perhaps I’ll give it a bit of feed next year.

Beautiful, Hywel! We had lots of blue ones in the raised bed in the gardens of our block of flats. They used to attracted dozens of bees! I would like to grow them on the balcony but most of the plants have now died as the council gardeners no longer look after the bed. Once I thought of getting some seeds from the plants but nothing came of them.

It is a gorgeous one though!

Now they won't need to look after it any more in the future - they removed it completely only a few days ago! 😥 🙁

Yes, that's probably the reason, Hywel. Shame as the bed was there since before we moved in over 20 years ago. But since the lockdowns over Covid they have done very little to maintain it so in a way it's better that it has been removed rather than become an eyesore in which it was degenerating.
