It's a good tradition, Hywel. Are they all the original figures or have you had to replace any over the decades?

It's good to remember every year that Jesus was God in person come down to live among His creation & eventually die in our place, taking our wrongdoings on Himself that we might receive pardon & everlasting life when we trust in Him.

Yes Balcony, they are all the original figures, although the paint has worn on some of them.
They get wrapped in tissue paper after every Christmas, the walls and roof of the stable come apart, and it is all put in a box until next Christmas.
There was a star on the roof but that was lost many years ago.
