He`s a smart little fellow!

Oh Flcrazy I can relate ! Today I was out crawling around on all 4's chasing after the prettiest little blue damselfly. As soon as I'd get close enough to get a shot she'd be off to another blade of grass.

Your Spicebush guy found a great place to land........the pic is awesome ! I LOVE that Coleus in the background........havn't seen that one before.

It really can be almost impossible to get a good shot sometimes, can't it! You did it this time - well done and who cares what neighbours think!

Nature is so clever to provide all those colours.

Grammazo- Did you make yourself a camoflage tent to take pictures in? I was recently telling Jeff that I needed to make something like that to take pictures of the hummingbirds, lol. That's so funny! Make a hat with twigs or something... :) Here's to crazy ladies everywhere!

I know what you mean. we have a butterfly similar to this, a beautiful black with bright turquios on the wings. He will flitter and flutter all around me and land beautifully with wings wide open but let me go get the camera and he is no where to be found....camera shy...maybe....yeh! I'm sure the neighbors wonder what kind of a nut-bird I am but I use these photos for birthday, well-wishes and Christmas cards. When they receive them they are very pleased so I am just saying my efforts are well worth it.

Yes Skippy, those really are some great ideas ! I've tinkered with the idea of making my own calendar, but I don't know how to go about it.

Do you have microsoft publisher? I use that for everything. I write and illustrate my own little booklet stories for my grandkids, make my own personalized cards for all occasions and create embellishments for my scrapbooks (I use my own photos as page embellishments)
