Im not sure Lori......This only goes our once a year and it dissappears so I presume that Freddie takes it

So...Freddy has been a fixture for a few years now? That is so wonderful. The foxes are the most beautiful creatures, with their black stockings on their tiny legs and black tipped ears...and those eyes!!

Lovely photo Milky,
He certainly is a good looking fellow as long as you don't get too close Lol. Our foxes tend to be rather scrawny and dull looking around here.

He is very handsome Doctorbob, but very wary.....one sound and he's off like a bat out of hell....

Mil;ky,
Just enquiring, do you have a family of foxes or is this a lone one. We have a family living under a railway bridge near us and there are several other families around, we see them all parading around especially at night.
16 Jan, 2009
Well Doc, Im not sure....I think there is more than one, because i have seen another, thats more scrawney looking and is limping too, so there may well be a family. I shall keep and early morning eye out for little uns soon as the weather is a slightly warmer.....then I may spot some more.... Certainly let you know if I do.....

I dont know how I missed your photos of the fox. They are beautiful arent they. We have them around here but never see them in the daytime. They have runs all over the place in my garden. I think they get braver when they are desperate for food when they have their young and then we see them more regularly.
17 Jan, 2009
Yes they do Dawnsaunt, mind you ...we havent seen him for a couple of days now, since the turkey carcass disappeared.....

That is amazing what a lovely creature i would love to see a fox up that close and so would the children.

They are lovely Jewells, I bet you have got them wandering around your garden in the early hours, up there in Ipswich, without you even knowing it
