Glad to see a nice big smiling sun over Wales TT :o) Please convey my thanks to the furry and feathered weather forecasters who compiled this map. I believe it better than the humans on tv.

3 Mar, 2009

Great weather map, TT but I felt a bit of an idiot going to bowls in my summer gear this evening and then it turned out very wet and very windy!! I think you feathered and furry trio are having a laugh :)

3 Mar, 2009

Wow....Looks great over there. Happy Gardening. :o)

3 Mar, 2009

TT I think your little family did a good job with this map and will excuse them todays hiccup, sincerely hope they,re right for days to come. How are they on predicting lotto numbers?....

3 Mar, 2009

Hi TT, can we have one for the Goy Members in the Southern Hemisphere as well please..LOL. :-)

4 Mar, 2009

Hello Panther ~
I'm running out of sunshine stickers. Lol.

Lincslass ~
I asked Crocus the budgie for a lotto forecast.
He produced o o o o o o o o . Lol.

Hi Gilli ~
Hot and sunny in all parts of the British Isles. We wish.

Hello Gee ~
Truffle played his own version of carpet bowls this morning.
He abandoned his own full breakfast bowl in the kitchen, ran into the lounge and jumped on Conker's breakfast, tipping that bowl of Rice Krispies all over the carpet. Not a good look. Lol.

Hywel ~
Delighted to give Wales a large smiley sunshine. Your fuchsias deserve some warm weather. I like your description of "furry and feathered forecasters" :o)

4 Mar, 2009

I put some dry fuchsias out in the rain yesterday to save me carrying water down the garden with my bad back. It was raining too much to put them in last night and now they're frozen solid. lol. I think I'm giving up.
Could your colleagues please predict a frostless night for Wales tonight please :o)

4 Mar, 2009

Crocus has moulted so many feathers lately, we're thinking of starting a cottage industry, making budgie-feather fleeces for fuchsias. :o)

4 Mar, 2009

I'll put my order in now then. lol

4 Mar, 2009

Green or yellow feathers. ?
You'll need to colour-code for your fuchsias. Lol

4 Mar, 2009

Green for mine. Yellow for Beryl's. :o) Crocus is going to become wealthy with all the proffits. :o)

4 Mar, 2009

Please thank the TT weather team for the nice "hot and dry" forecast close to Essex. I have one complaint however. Whoever in the team did a Michael Fish and didn't predict last night's high winds which broke a small branch and left the tit nest box at a jaunty anlge needs reprimanding. The tit's lawyer will be in touch.

4 Mar, 2009

LOL

4 Mar, 2009

We'd hoped that the disclaimer top right of map ~
" NOT TO SCALE " ~
would prevent anything fishy on the "scale" of a Michael Fish disaster.

Crocus the budgie, suggests that if you are short of cash you buy a new nestbox on higher perches. Lol.

4 Mar, 2009

Sunny today TT it's working!

LOL ...... higher perches .. I love it .... you are very sharp this morning TT ...

Thank you Conker, Truffle and Crocus for the shiny sun over East Anglia but then I would expect nothing less from you homies , you haven,t got it quite right yet .. I suspect you are letting the new boy Truffles read the seaweed ... he will learn ........ LOL ...

4 Mar, 2009

Hi Amy ~
Thanks. I'm more with-it than yesterday. :o)

Glad it is sunny for you in the East and for Arlene in the West.
Truffle is tapping his barometer and hoping for hot, hot, hot....

4 Mar, 2009

Thanks TT. Higher perches is not required as the nest box was not damaged and I was standing on a step ladders propped against the tree at 07:30 this morning repositioning it. Please tell birdbrain that I liked his cheep remark.

4 Mar, 2009

Hi Toto ~
Did you take photos of your ladder antics at such an early hour ?
I would certainly love to see the pictures. :o)

4 Mar, 2009

I'll have to ask the nurse if left them in intensive care while I was there.

4 Mar, 2009

I love the map - it really reminds me of the old BBC weather with the stick on magnetic symbols.

4 Mar, 2009

Lol Ducky ~
Let's hope the map brings warmer weather.
Didn't those magnetic sunshine symbols and clouds used to fall to the ground with a clang ?

Sounds like Toto is risking life and limb to give his blue tits five-star accommodation. Lol.

And I'm still searching GoY for Toto photos........

4 Mar, 2009

LOL> I like the not to scale part :P
Your weather map worked for me, bringing lots of warm weather~I even have blooms out there and the snow is almost all gone.
Hope you guys get warm weather too!
Well done, TT..Once again.

4 Mar, 2009

Hi NN ~
The bird feet prints are a bit over-sized in proportion to the budgie, which is bigger than the dogs. Lol.

I am genuinely delighted that your weather is warming up and you have plants in bloom. How is the flooding ?

4 Mar, 2009

wow hoo, even Ireland is showing sunshine lol

4 Mar, 2009

Flooding is improving, as my pics show. Thank God.
We got off lucky this year. Little snow, no major storms.
I didn't get my huge snowman made...But I prefer early blooms anyday. :)

4 Mar, 2009

I thought of you, Eileen when I fixed the warm, happy sunshine on Ireland :o)

NN ~ I've just seen your latest pictures.
Yes, I'm more than ready to enjoy your photos of bulbs rather than snowmen :o)

4 Mar, 2009

TT ........you got it all wrong.....sturm sturm .knocked two panels out of the greenhouse..forcasting -4 tonight..well blest.never mind .nice map, well, done

4 Mar, 2009

Oh Deida ~
Your poor greenhouse.
Let's hope the map will bring some warm sunshine over Staffs. tomorrow.
Percy needs to do some serious sunbathing ! :o)

4 Mar, 2009

T T it is snowing now...................

4 Mar, 2009

Great weather map TT,we had lots of lovely sunshine today,....thank you ..........

4 Mar, 2009

Wow, we seem to have a mixed bag of weather across the UK.
So glad it was sunny for you Janette.
I wonder how much of Britain had snow ?
Deida ~ how's the greenhouse coping ?

5 Mar, 2009

Well, you've certainly got some feedback on your weather map! That Truffle is really learning fast, but I hope he isn't growing too fast?

5 Mar, 2009

Hello Chloris ~
You've guessed it ~
Truffle is growing f-a-s-t !
He can reach higher, jump on boxes, you name it Lol.

Truffle needs the warm sunshine symbols on that map, so he can spend more time in the garden. Maybe that will tire him out a bit.
I'm ever hopeful. :o)

5 Mar, 2009

He sounds so gorgeous I want to hug him, its ages since mine were puppies.

5 Mar, 2009

Truffle, Conker and Crocus all send hugs. :o)

Much better than that silly flying all over the 3D map thing they do on TV - always completely misses my area (or the forecaster is stood in front of it). This is much better, thanks all, four-leggers and two-leggers involved :-) And I've got a sun over me :-)

6 Mar, 2009

Conker stuck a special sunshine on Hereford, just for you, Sid. :o)

I know what you mean about those shift-about TV maps ! They hover over obscure places, and ignore some counties completely. Lol.

Sunny weekend for all, I hope :o)

6 Mar, 2009

Sid
Sid

Absolutely - they hover around over the Outer Hebrides and completely miss out other areas. Haven't got anything against the Outer Hebrides, but I don't particular care what weather they're getting! ha ha...

6 Mar, 2009

I did feel guilty for not putting Islander's Orkneys on my sun map. Lol.

6 Mar, 2009

brilliant. I heartily agree.
I'm having a completely frustrating time dancing in and out with the washing this afternoon inbetween showers.

8 Mar, 2009

We had sunshine this morning. Lovely blue skies and I thought I had my weather map right. BUT ~ now grey skies and heavy rain ...
so I sympathise with your antics with the washing. Lol.

8 Mar, 2009

Phew! I am burning up just looking at the map, Tt. Will dtrive straight down to that hot North Sea for a skinny-dip, just as soon as I've finished planting out my banana and coconut trees, pineapples, mangoes, oh, and not forgetting my cacao bean plantation!

Canada - plant your mangroves now, as they require a very long growing season!

9 Mar, 2009

Hi David ~
Glad to see you are so clued up on hot climate horticulture.
I hope this warmer weather doesn't melt your chocolate garden. ;o)

9 Mar, 2009

Tt - Mr Wonka made chocolate ice cream that wouldn't melt, even on the hottest day. Our own mix of chocolate and ice cream plants won't either!
:-)

9 Mar, 2009

Get ready David !
Your chocolate and ice cream plants need to be planted in time for the Scottish heat wave. ;o)

9 Mar, 2009

This is brilliant, though for my winter blues I could do with this sort of weather all year round lol.....

13 Mar, 2009

Hi Tina2 ~
Weather for England due to get good as from this Sunday. :o)

13 Mar, 2009

Well, it seems like a new Marauder’s Map to me :)... Mr. Conker, Mr. Truffle and Mr. Crocus should be proud they did it. "Mischief managed." :)

21 Mar, 2009

Hi Dawnglitters ~
Well, this week we've certainly has lovely sunshine in most parts of Britain :o)

21 Mar, 2009

Sunny days here in France too. Longing for a little rain for my new planted ones though :)...

21 Mar, 2009

Yes, I dug up a shrub and moved it yesterday and I've already been out in the garden to give the root area lots more rain water ! Important the soil around the newly planted ones stays moist. :o)
