Is Astilbe the plant to bear clumpy white or pale pink flower with tree-like stalks ? If so, i know it but haven't, frequently see on sunny roadside through valley and sunny places closer to forest of deciduous trees in summer.

They look in good shape. No sign of mine. I think maybe the winter killed them off.

maybe not Chris, i thought mine were gone when we had the bad frost but they suddenly started shooting back up a few weeks ago
