Silk Acacia tree

Silk Acacia tree (Albizia julibrissin)

Bought this yesterday from the Garden centre. It is one of my favourite trees, so hope it does well. Silk Acacia is the local name. I think it is also known as a Persian silk tree. It's botanical name is Albizia julibrissin

I've just bought some Acacia honey, I suppose this is the tree it comes from

Probably not Lindak. It's not a true acacia. They sell a lot of Acacia honey here in Hungary, but that is not true Acacia either, it's from the Robinia or False Acacia.

a bit late to come in but i was just having a look around for anybody growing this little beauty.
how's your little silk tree come along since 2009? and in what position in your garden have you planted it?
i grew mine from a seed in my previous garden and am wondering when it will start to flower...
