For my records.

Lovely Aquilegia. My ones are just beginning to flower now, and I have a few baby plants that have seeded from last year.

It's a lovely one!

You have some pretty shades of blue and mauve in your garden.

Thanks ladies ... the only colour I seem to steer clear of is red.

They are pretty, Shirley. I have these, too. They've self-seeded gently.
I love red but seem to have a garden of purple, mauve and orange at the moment, not planned! Must be unconscious choices, I suppose.

Ange, it was well known to GoYers that I couldn't bear Orange in the garden, yet I now have Geum 'Totally Tangerine' and love it. It must be an age thing .....

Well, we are similar in age!

Beautiful flowers, Shirley! 👍

David, they are slightly darker than this photo shows as my 'point and shoot' camera isn't the greatest!

We wouldn't have known, Shirley, if you hadn't told us! 😆

Even if the colour is not true to life, as we obviously would like our pictures to be, every computer, or mobile phone screen renders our pictures differently! So I wouldn't get upset over a photo not being exactly as we see it with our own eyes!

I stand by my comment above, they are beautiful! 👍

Thanks David ... :o))
