That's a lovely clump, Amy! Not far from us there's a heath (Therfield Heath) where they grow wild . . . at Easter of course, because their other name is Pasque Flower. :))

Thanks everyone ,I like these very much the foliage is so soft / silvery and downey to the touch I have some others in slightly different colours coming soon , I know they do grow wild Sheila ,we were walking on heath land somewhere last year ,there was an info. board up listing all the plants growing there ,they were on the list but it was the wrong time of the year for us to find any ..

Surprisingly, they're not that easy to see, growing in fairly long grass - you have to be careful where you put your feet!

i have just bought one first time, not sure wheres the best place for it.. mine is called pinwheel a lovely deep red do they come up every year ... :-)
