The strange sky !

I'm Loughborough way and quite open, the colours weren't just in the west but spread right across the north into the east, really
weird,
it had been grey all afternoon and rained from 7.30/8.00 ish then this sky.....hot already this morning and a hard blue sky, not lookingforward to the 28 /30c forecast :0 (

wow, that's a "boding" sky! did you notice the weather the next day, maybe it was portending something?

We had a lovely sunny day today after that strange sky, Pamg. I still think its weird though !
I've never seen it change as quick as this though Karen ! I forgot to mention , there was a rainbow about an hour before this happened , but we had no rain to speak of. Just a few drops !

It was a beautiful day today Fran! In fact its now 8.45pm as I'm writing this and its still sunny and warm !

mmm, sounds good! we've been promised heatwaves in parts of the UK, but they haven't said which parts!

Well caught,Rose..I don't think we had those skies here,as we were still outside,and I'm sure we would have noticed..
It was a scorcher here yesterday,but the evening was so pleasant,to be able to sit out for a long time..but how different this morning! quite cool,very cloudy,and the odd few raindrops..I hope we don't get the storms that have been forecast,but as it isn't at all humid,it may just be the rain..not even a glimmer of sun,and it's almost lunchtime..

Yes Sandra, you couldn't have missed that sky ! It was amazing ! We are still having very hot weather here. We have had two nights of heavy rain though, but then sunshine all day . Perfect !

Saturday was a day of heavy rain then sun, so hot and humid.....then more heavy rain!
its the humidity that gets to me......

had a couple of oppressively hot, windless days, then a day of heavy rain which took the edge off it; hope yours was the same or better!
