Hello all my goy friends and hope you are all staying well!
I was all set to put up photos of all my spring flowers in my newly landscaped garden, but we were going to Norfolk on holiday for a week the same time as you Chris, in May, but with unsettled weather, I had to concentrate on the gardens.
After a lovely week in Norfolk with only one day light rain, we returned to overgrown gardens, lawns and borders!
The weeds had just shot up as there had been a week of rain while we were away! Not to mention the washing!
So..now it is all done, new window boxes and a new unusual hanging basket, plus sweet peas in a big pot and other pots planted up.
My dahlias replaced the tulips in the raised bed that I built and everything is planted up in the borders.
I have yet to take photos of how it looks now as we are off to Suffolk for a week in the morning.
I have been on edge as we were having a slight problem with the car and hopefully, it will be ok now!
I am sorry I haven’t been able to catch up with all of your blogs, but hopefully will be able to when we get home!
Take care and will be back on here soon!

Hi Rose! Thank you for your good wishes. Yes, I hope you enjoyed your holiday in Norfolk. It sounds very nice. Yeh the weeds will grow but heck sometimes you just gotta get away for a bit. They will still be there when you get home :). I also planted dahlias to replace my tulips. I like that you can let them do their thing and they make nice cut flowers if you need to create a bouquet for a last minute guest coming for dinner - happens to me a lot. lol. If you have a free moment, please see my latest blog. Hope you are well rested.

Rose, enjoy your stay in Suffolk and hopefully your garden will behave itself this time!!!
We lived in Suffolk for a short time in the seventies and were based near Woodbridge. I think you will love it there and find lots of peaceful, pretty places.

Thank you Bathgate. I appreciate everything you said and thank you for letting me know about Thrupenny.
Thanks Kate ! I am sure we will and the forecast is good too!
Hello Chris! I think I mentioned once before to you about us going to Woodbridge which is a lovely little place, but unfortunately when we were there last time, it rained, so just sat in the restaurent ( the one with the picture house.)
So expensive !
Will write when I get back. xx

It's surprising how the garden gets out of hand if we don't keep on top of it ... I hope you have a nice time away and see you soon :)
