Well..back again after another wonderful holiday! Very hot every day, but as much as we loved it, the weather at night was too hot for sleeping!
So, I am going back to May with the first lot of pictures I took and can’t believe how much everything has grown!
I bought the Sennitti just before going away.
This is the new double glazed little green house we bought.
The tomatoes are at the top of it now!
Lots of Welsh poppies self set now! I do love them , but sometimes they pop up where they are not wanted !
We only bought this last year so am pleased on how well it is doing!
A closer look !
This is how the garden looks now! Everything has just shot up over the week!
Part of the rose garden. The foxgloves decided they wanted to live here too! Haha!
The next few are the borders, but the Ammi Majus I decided to grow have got too tall too quick and need staking!
This is part of the very overgrown shrub border!
This is looking towards the rose garden, but is not very clear!
All of these roses were just in bud before we went away! This is Zephrine Drouhan and has the most gorgeous perfume, plus as a bonus, no thorns!
I just had to take a picture of the Cosmos, but hope it grows taller !
As you may have noticed..I hadn’t cut the grass ! Hahaa!
Thank you for looking!
Oh..and just one more thing..it’s been torrential rain today and the southerly wind has gone north west! Really strange weather!!

I’m pleased you had a lovely holiday, Rose!
Your garden has definitely gone in to overdrive hasn’t it! Beautiful cottage planting at its best! Those foxgloves are gorgeous! Your arch with those pretty roses is so lovely..The Welsh poppies are thriving and so cheerful.

Your garden is brimming with lush plant growth Rose, full of colour and not too manicured, just as I like it :)

A very attractive cottage garden, Rose. The rapid growth always gives you a bit of a shock when you get back from any hols. taken in the summer. It's all lovely, but your dicentra is a beauty.

Thanks Waddy! We often say we need the rain and then we get too much! Haha!
Thanks Julia! No, my green house isn't heated. The wall it is on faces south and in the colder weather won't be using it.
Thank you Marjorie! Nice to hear from you!
Thank you Kate! I couldn't believe how everything had grown in a week and I have no idea where the foxgloves came from!
We love the Welsh poppies too and after seeing them years ago in a friends garden in Scotland , I always wanted them in my garden! Never had them before and it was a pleasant surprise when we moved here and found them popping up all over!
Thank you Hywel! I am pleased you are pleased with it!
Thank you Anget , but unfortunately the dicentra has finished now!

My goodness Rose, everything seems to have gone mad! I never noticed you hadn't cut the grass, I was too busy admiring how healthy everything looks.
Sadly no rain here and we could do with a drop or two.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your holiday.
