I thought I would show you how the roses and other plants have come on since we have been home again.
I decided to show you most of the rose garden with close ups and names to also remind me what they are! Senior moments! Haha!
This is just a few of them…
Just Joey
Gertrude Jekyll
Graham Thomas
Strawberry Hill. I have two of these climbers on each side of the arch and are very vigorous growers.
Bonica One of my favorites.
Hot Chocolate
This one is named after Princess Diana, but can’t remember the correct name!
The climber Sunrise
Looking down at the rose garden, but unfortunately I took this on a dull day!
Just a few plants which have grown quite well ..
My window boxes which are growing well!
Close up ! The same one as Hywels and love them!
This pot should have white lilies too, but one night the fox got in and dug them up! Since then I have put gravel, slate and chippings all around the garden, which hopefully has worked !
My first dahlia to flower ! What do you think Dave!
The Ammi Majus which I grew from seed seem to be doing much better now!
I hope you have enjoyed looking at a few of my collection!
Take care everyone!

Beautiful big blousy blooms indeed, Rose! That dahlia is fantastic! You must be pretty chuffed with it! I do love your climbing Rose ‘sunset’, it’s just gorgeous!

Your roses are truly gorgeous and look so very healthy. The pale pink climber must look stunning and a I love your purple petunias. The lily is also a beautiful colour.
You work so hard in your garden Rose and it shows.

So many beautiful roses Rose. The first 4 I had in my 'old' garden too, but yours seem to be more vigorous than mine were. I also love your Dahlia is a gorgeous colouring.

It's a shame you can't grow dahlias Yorks! Mine are probably doing better as they are in a raised bed, but I have still occasionally had to use slug pellets as the blighters crawl up it!
Thanks Kate but now am confused! Is it Sunrise or Sunset! Haha! I do know it is not Tequila Sunrise though! I am forever losing my labels!
Thank you Seaburn!
Thanks Chris! What a nice thing to say! I hope your roses are going to be ok!
Thank you Waddy! Its clay soil here and they seem to flourish in that!
Yes , me too Davey as I am always forgetting to put my gloves on when cutting the finished roses off!
I don't think my dahlias will ever come up to your standard!
Thank you Gerardine!

Certainly did enjoy looking Rose! The First photo was literally breathtaking - make me gasp! They are all lovely though and the dahlia is gorgeous. Makes me a bit envious as its not worth growing them here - why should I spend all that effort feeding slugs...
I'm glad you are pleased with the Ammi - its always nice when seeds do well isn't it?
