I think you may need to sit comfy with a cuppa as I decided to show you quite a lot of my flowers in the main garden!
So …here we go …
One of my favourites, Alstromeria.
Yellow standard. No name!
These two pictures are of a huge shrub rose.
Unfortunately no name! I bought it as a rose for an obelisk, but over the last couple of years , trained it into a shrub as it was so vigorous!
Another picture of this rose from a different angle showing the flowers on the pyracantha.
This one was named after Princess Diane.
The most scented one in the garden and thornless!
Zephrine Drouhon
Climbing rose Sunset .The photo doesn’t do it justice as it is so bright!
The very vigorous Strawberry Hill
Phiadelphis alongside both Strawberry Hills.
I have had this clematis such a long time and have forgotten it’s name!
Another one with no name! Brought with us from the last garden!
I always seem to lose the labels too! Senior moments! Haha!
This one was in the garden when we came here over three years ago, but only just discovered it this year as it was smothered by honeysuckles!
A close up of the same one!
I also dicovered this Jasmine too!
I put a mesh across the back of the arbour seat , so it is now scrambling around it and the perfume is beautiful!
A close up of a Rhody!
The red one looks like velvet!
Can any of you name this shrub please! Another lost label!
Dwarf Phlox in the flower border.
And last but not least! I can hear you sigh from here!!
Welsh poppies.
For those of you who haven’t nodded off…thank you for looking!
I have never shown the front garden for quite a while, but will do that in another blog!
That will be much shorter! Haha!
Happy gardening!

Your roses and clematis are just a joy. What a really lovely garden you have Rose and it is so well cared for. I know that whenever you have a spare moment you are out there and it shows!

Rose, your photos have been a joy to view on this grey day! Smashing selection of plants. Could the white Clematis from your previous garden be C. Florida Sieboldii?

I am pleased you enjoyed your little tour Shirley!
I think you are right about the clematis. I remember now!
Thank you!

Its all gorgeous - I love those miniature Phlox - never seen those before! Could your unidentified rose be Whisky Mac do you think?

Thanks Sue, I found the phlox in a book you get sent in the post. Can't remember which one! Might have been Dobies!
I just sent for small plugs and am quite pleased with them.
I didn't know you could get dwarf ones either!
I really don't know about the rose!
We bought it one year in a Suffolk garden centre and was displayed as a climber on an obelisk.
A year later, it just got too big, so trained it as a shrub and it is still huge, but lovely!

I think all your plants are much further on than thy are here, although I don't have any Roses now. Glad you are feeling much better now,and love to you both.. xx .

Thank you Daylily and Stroller!
The roses bloomed in May for the first time this year!
Hello Sandra! Nice to "see you again!"
The roses started flowering much earlier this year, probably due to the mild winter!
I am sure yours will catch up!

Your shrub looks like a physocarpus, Rose.
I see you like your roses and they look impressive at the moment. Your garden is a delight.
