It has been quite a while since I have shown the front garden, so here goes…
This has really taken over this year and need to cut it right back!
This fuschia, although very pretty also takes over!
Enormous Weigelia
Leycesteria Formosa Another one which needs a trim!
Everything has got so big this year!
Thank you for looking in!

Well, the full tour and very lovely too! I was about to mention the lupins, too. My favourites. I have the fuchsia also and it's growing well, like yours. Love the acer next to the weigela - they work well together.

I shall mention the lupins too! Mainly because we cannot grow them and to see so many is quite a treat. Slugs eat ours every time we put them in and so we have had to give up!!
You have a splendid front garden too Rose and what a lovely approach to your house.

Thanks Seaburn! I don't know the name of the fuschia as it was here when we moved !
Thanks Anget! I nearly dug all the lupins up last year as they had a bad case of lupin aphids which are hard to get rid of and can eventually kill the plant!
But this year I sprayed before they took hold and it has worked, so pleased I left them in!
Thank you Chris!
A lady walks passed here evevery day and always stops to look at the garden saying how wonderful it is!
Wasn't that nice of her!
As for the lupins, maybe it is because I have gravelled everywhere because of the fox! xx

I didn't know there were those problems with lupins - its slugs eating the little ones here. But I can't grow them anyway because OH had some sort of regular run in with a neighbour in his childhood, always losing his ball among theirs and he didn't want to be reminded. They do make a great display. Your garden looks gorgeous.

Thank you Sue! If I am on the ball, then spray them very early, the lupins don't have any problems, plus the whole garden borders have thick layers of gravel onwhich keeps the slugs off!

Lovely selection of lupins there.
I love the white fuchsia. Is it Hawkshead?
