29th June ……I have just taught Baxter to jump our Box hedge. You have no idea how difficult it is to get a good action photo. Here are 3 examples.
Re the Box hedging (Buxus sempervirens) in my garden – I bought 12 plants about 5 years ago and have since made a circular hedge from cuttings. It is about 6ft in diameter around a Mahonia with cowslips underneath ( very pretty in spring.) What a saving cuttings and growing from seeds are; and so satisfying .

Well done Baxter....
Will he be able to jump the hedging as it gets taller ? Lol.
I gave a friend lots of cuttings from my box hedge and he now has little box hedges growing all over the place !
As you say, so satisfying getting 'free' plants from seeds and cuttings :o)
