Butterflies

Inspired by the quantity in the garden, I have been painting butterflies this week. Of course I had to look many of them up; but did paint a couple from photos I had taken. I have learnt a lot about this very interesting small creature and their designs are so intricate and amazing. I’m on a roll now and have started studying and painting the ‘Blues’ today.
