Nice garden, San, it is coming along very nicely. I like the Clematis marmoraria.

I know what your going through as it so so hard coming to terms with losing a pet since i got married 46yrs ago, i've only ever had 4cats and 1 dog as they where all only babies when we had them, my first 2 cats was Timmy and Beautie, Timmy was 15 and Beautie was 18, and Sheba my dog she was german sheperd and she was 13 1/2yrs, and the last 2 cats was Smokey and his brother Bandit, and Bandit died of kidney failure same as Smokey as, But he only lived till he was 13 so i only lost him nearly 4yrs ago, and as each one died it never gets easy at all, think with having them all for such alot of years it as been like losing a child to me as they all grew up with me.

Hi Sandra, I didn't know this was your first year in this garden - you've done a great job. You are obviously a lady with green fingers and I look forward to seeing photos of what you get up to next. I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, but hope you can take strength from all the feeling coming your way from your many friends on GOY, myself included. Best wishes to you and your family. X

thankyou muddy glad you like what ive done in my first year, ive always enjoyed gardening from being a child with my grandad who use to do a few gardens in his area, then i got my mum into it when i was a teen, our garden was over grown and not nice, so once i started with it my mum continued, then i had my last garden which i did on a very low budget but at least it looks tidy and had flowers in summer, i am now in a position being married again to have this garden which i have started from scratch apart from the grass, ive loved every min.. of it to, cant wait for spring and my new project.
it will take time to get over my beloved angelina but she will have a lovely resting place in the new area come spring, she loved being in the garden like me,
thanx again for your best wishes muddy.. take care x
