Had an email at tea time to say Spritz has been sent home [for good behaviour!].
OH says she is relieved but tired. I dont suspect she will be on here for a couple of days yet.
So keep on healing my dear we are all wishing you well.

Spritz will be so happy to be home ... tell her to find a window seat and enjoy the garden views from indoors for a while ... frustrating but necessary for a good recovery! ... :o)

I take it the procedure was carried out, then, she wasn't sent home again? What a relief, time for some R & R Spritz, looking forward to your being back again.

Had a longish e-mail from Spritz tonight: clearly on the mend. ambling gently around the house and OUT to see a pot of tulips.
I knew she'd be out looking at her plants asap.
She sounds happy [if you 'sound' anything in an e-mail] to be home and I think it is the best place for her. I know she wasnt looking forward to being in hospital.
well done spritz on your cntinuing recovery. But dont overdo it :o)

I bet she is happy to be home - I think being in hospital is almost a fate worse than death, specially these days. You probably get better care at home after a procedure than you do in there - certainly a friend of mine who is still a nurse says quite openly that there's no nursing care in hospitals any more - not enough of them and not enough time.
Glad she's emailing people, even if they are shortish. My brother in law came out yesterday from a heart op too.

One of my brothers is a nurse and he also says similar bamboo. he finds compasion is sadly lacking. I must have been lucky when i have been in. It makes him very cross that it is a business not a caring profession now. Hope your brother recovers quickly.

I was taken to A&E at our local hospital early in January ... had suffered a heart attack ... had a stent fitted ... came home after five days and could not fault the care and attention given by the staff ... the food was a different matter altogether though! ... Great news that Spritz has been out in her garden ... it really does a power of good ... :o)))

Spoke to Spritz tonight. she is in fine form and making excellent progress under the care of her OH. She has had several ambles down the garden path and is enjoying the spring sunshine. Of course 'eagle eyes' have spotted the cheeky weed seedings making a dash for it whilst her back is turned. :o)
The doctor is delighted with her progress too. She asked my to thank those friends who sent her get well cards and for all the good wishes on here.
She is still not 'strong' enough to get on the computer to read all your comments and to thank you herself. It will only be a matter of time.

Thankyou Seaburn for keeping us imformed, pleased to hear Spritz is able to have a gentle walk in the sunshine....

Thanks for the update (again) SBG. Keep up the good progress Spritz.
