lots of flowers.

It started last Saturday when my lovely husband came in with a beautiful bouquet in yellow and pastel pearl colours.
The reason for such extravagance? On Tuesday we celebrated our Pearl Wedding anniversary. Why did I get them on the Saturday? Monday was Easter Monday, he reckoned the florists would be shut and any flowers they had on the Tuesday would have been in the shop from the Saturday; I might as well enjoy them for a few extra days.
I also had my eldest girl home from uni and she brought her young man with her. They stayed for a week and as a thank you he brought me a huge mixed bunch of flowers. I split them into 2 colour themes and they are in different rooms.
The pink ones are in the lounge.
The greeny/white ones are in the dining room.
So flowers inside and out.

Congratulations and best wishes from me too Sbg, he is right, you may as well have the benefit of the flowers, they would only have been dieing off in the shop for another 4 days, Derek.

I'm glad to see your bouquets - I've already wished you a happy anniversary but I'm glad you had a happy day. Is there a name for our 47th apart from 'that's a long time!'? lol.

yes we had a lovely time. OH has a lily in it and it is now open and the perfume is very strong.
Spritz there isn't a specific one other than '3 murders would cost you less time' . Your card turned up yesterday. Post is wonderful around here!

Congratulations, SB! Those flowers your OH got you look really lovely! As do those your daughter & her boyfriend bought you!
This year we'll reach our 39th! Not that many around nowadays! So many end in divorce after a few years it's a shame. Even our daughter ended hers after less than 2 years. She now has a "partner" & they've been together for about 8 years! They have also given us our first two grandchildren. Our daughter's first marriage, (& only marriage for now!), didn't produce any kids.
