How many fish?

I have not written any blogs for a while, mainly due to being busy getting ready for the eldest girl, Elizabeth’s wedding in 9 days time. EEK where has the time gone?
Anyhow, today I had some friends over and they were watching the fish in the pond. Nicely refilled with the recent rain. Sadly lots of Lemna [duckweed] now so come the winter I will be skimming it off.
So how many fish are there? Well over 40 of different shapes, sizes and colours.
Each photo has 5 different fish in them. Can you spot them.

What a lovely pond Eileen, and brilliant to have such a variety of fish (I can see some of them 🙂).
Hope you have good weather for the wedding, and have a great day!

Oh yes I even spotted one that we have two of in ours, the name is evading me at the minute as lots of things do, the largest one in the last photo, my daughter has loads of duckweed this year, we have never had any thankfully, I haven't a clue how many fish we actually have in ours... .....I wondered if that was what was keeping you away, that time has gone so quickly Seaburn, I hope the weather is good for you and that everything goes well on the day, looking forward to seeing the photo's but the main thing is try not to get too frazzled and enjoy....

Crikey, not long now, Eileen!!! Very exciting too.
I've seen your pond in real life and it's fab!!! Very relaxing and lovely to watch the fish swimming around...my pond is quite small.
Yes, a clearance of pondweed always looks good afterwards.

A lovely pond Seaburn and it looks quite healthy!
I wish we had the room for a larger pond, but saying that, I couldn't dig through the clay myself which is why I just have a little wild life pond.
We had two good sized ones when we lived in Willow Cottage and Rick was quite fit then!
Good luck with the wedding.

Thank you all for the good wishes. Steve spent 5hrs yesterday cleaning & waxing the Rover though it will be dirty no doubt if the weather doesn't improve.
Are the fish you are thinking of Shubunkins Lincs? Some are, others bog standard goldfish that haven't change to gold.
This is a raised pond as 10 inches down we hit bed rock chalk Rose. It has a good water balance and lots of inverts living in it so yep healthy enough.

Best wishes for your daughter’s wedding, a big day for you all. I hope the sun shines, wouldn’t do to have all that rain & flashing & banging that we got yesterday.

Got the Bucks Fizz for supper on Sunday and breakfast on the Monday. We will be happy no matter what haha. 4 more sleeps.
It is all indoors so from the apartment to the actual 'alter' is all undercover so it would be nice for photos outdoors but no problem if its wet. The Venue [that's its name] is an ex mill.

Seaburn that is the name that vanished from my brain"DUH" our huge one and the Koi Carp are over 40 yrs old now, we lost our Mirror Carp which was also approx the same age last winter but know we do have another possibly more, as with yours most of the smaller ones are ordinary orange, many were bred in the pond so now don't know how many we actually have now....
That venue sounds lovely, I still hope its sunny on the day of the wedding though...xx

Elizabeth is fine, buzzing with lots of energy. Sister Victoria is more stressed as she is chief bridesmaid.
I think I have everything ready, I'll know on Sunday when we set off. Hubby will follow the next morning with the groom and best man.

There are lots of brown ones so they are a ghostly outline. Also difficult to count, will only know the true number when I clean the pond out completely.
