What shall I put where?

Well I set my self the task of tackling atrocity corner whilst the girls were on Easter Holidays. As we all know the weather has been ‘changeable’ to say the least but I have managed to sort most of it. I need to see which bluebels are which as I know I have pink and white ones in there too.
For those who didnt see the previous blog this is what I was faced with at the start of round 2 I had cleared a section about 2weeks ago.
By the end of the day it looked like this.
The middle region was then tackled yesterday and again the robins kept me company. They slow down progress as I keep stopping to offer them grubs and just watch them.
I finally finished this by 5pm and went in for tea. I had every intention to take the camera out but I forgot. Then this morning I started placing plants and replacing them. Silly me forgot to take a photo before I had placed over 40 plants. So you will have to try and sort out what the bed looks like before I plant up.
Most of this bed will be in light shade for most of the day so I am using Dicentra spectabilis, D. spectabilis alba, Helleborous niger, H hybrids, Cardamine maxima, Pachysandra terminalis variegata, Phlox paniculata [pale pink & blue], Geranium phaeum ‘Sambour’ G rennardi, G. ‘Bertie Crug’ an unnamed pink geranium, Anemonella thalictriodes, Paeony maculata, assorted bulbs and running through this bed and the one it joins to Polemonium ‘purple rain’. I have lots of gaps still for mid- late summer plants so I am having a trip to Reighton garden centre near Filey tomorrow.
I’ll let you know what else I buy for this bed.

Yes I have worked hard. But it will keep its name. It is a family tradition to have one in our gardens.

Well done Sbg,a lot of hard work gone into that corner. You'll have to rename it now-no longer an atrocity :)
I wish I'd known about the GC at Reighton, passed by yesterday-to and from Scarborough !!
