September colour

I thought there wasn’t much going on in my garden in September in fact i was thinking of planting some more things that have colour in Autumn but when i went round with the camera i was surprised at what there was!
Pretty pink aster is opening i split this end of last year gave away 6 plants and kept three for myself. The blue is a Clematis Tubulosa davidiana given by a friend its not a climber more of a shrub pretty blue.
the Cosmos ‘Picotee’ has been lovely since all the rain i was disappointed with them early on think it was too dry for them but now they are a picture. If anyone wants some seeds PM your address and i’ll post some off, not sure if they’ll come true but they are pretty anyway!
The old reliable Sedum is opening now, and i still have some Marigolds in flower plus after chopping back the Hardy Geranium ‘Johnsons blue’ it has put out a few more flowers.
Cyclamen i had forgotten about hidden under the Forsythia, ought to move it really but it looks so happy there, the other plant i can’t remember what it is!! If anyone knows please tell me lol
This was the temperature this afternoon on the 23rd September
Fuschia ‘Alison Patricia’, and Morning Glory probably the last of the flowers.
So all in all there IS a lot of colour in my garden if at first glance i think there isn’t!!Through all the photo taking i was followed by my faithful companion who now is 4 months old and follows me everywhere :o)

Yes, there is still a surprising amount of colour around, as your pix show. I love the cosmos, and I must try some next season, although whether I'll get a display like yours remains to be seen!

Yes, you've got a good amount of colour left in your garden. Your little dog seems to be looking at the camera rather longingly....waiting for a treat maybe?
