My Petunias and Surfinas are putting out flowers on the kitchen windowsill they need putting in their baskets really but I’ve nowhere big enough to keep them until we are frost free.
I forgot to label them so have left the flowers so I can see what colour they are! I never learn lol
My friend brought me some tomatoes yesterday she has a smallholding, so these are Moneymaker, Roma, Cherry and Gardener’s Delight.
The sun is in and out today, bit nippy in the wind though. The corkscrew hazel is growing its leaves, and this Cotoneaster is one of my favourite shrubs in the garden, lovely bronze leaves in spring followed by insignificant flowers which bees love, then hanging groups of bright red berries, then the leaves turn lovely autumnal colours, it was a cutting from my Aunt now no longer with us, but I think of her every time I look at it.
The lily ‘Tiger Woods’ is coming on nicely must split it this year! No sign of lily beetles…..yet!!
I am looking after my neighbours Orchids whilst they are away hope I don’t kill them! She’s had them for a few years. Not a lover of orchids but must admit the flowers are stunning.

It has been a lovely day here in the part of Germany where I live...although I was cooped up most of the day at work...but when I got home my evening meal was on the table (Iv´e got my OH trained well...due to her illness she isn´t allowed to go to work anymore and has loads and loads of time on her hands)...anyway afterwards I went down to my garden and decided to mow both my lawns as they were nice and dry...they look very nice now...well the do to me.

Its good exercise for the neck looking sideways anyway.
That red petunia is glorious. I always forget what things are as well - you think you'll remember but then you don't.

Hi sewingkilla,
OOOh i went all dizzy looking at those pics, "head side on"
But i do agree the weather really is cold here in france today,
Its been rain all morning and cold,
Like you i just want to get me greenhouse stuff out in the ground "but non of them can swim" so i'll just have to wait.
My hardy fuchias are showing through and the weeds are winning the fight of who can be the tallest via the flowers,
Lets hope the sun arrives in May.
I was just talking to a lady who phoned me from the uk to book our gite and she said i bet the weather in your area is better than the weather here in the high lands of scotland we've got frost,
I told her the weather here is much better than that if your a duck.
Well lets keep everything crossed for good sunny weather next week "then we can moan about the flies and getting bit.
Be good,
Yours Dungy.
