Painting!

Well as the weather forecast was good (we believed them hoping it was right!) we got on and got the gates painted, well, ‘preserved’ and it did what exactly was on the tin!! Hubby did the tops and bottoms and i did the middles didn’t take us long really and it dried in 30 mins, actually said ‘rainproof in 30 mins’. the rain kept off i’m glad to say.
Then hubby decided to cut the hedge it had got quite long because of the weather not being able to get it done. while he was doing that i decided to get the woodland bit sorted out a bit, the hardy geraniums had finished flowering so i cut them back, you never know might get some more flowers yet!
Had a look at the Victoria plum tree, its absolutely laden down with plums, think i should have thinned them!!

I had a look round the rest of the garden and tidied and deadheaded a few things, the new Helenium is starting to flower and the Fushcias are all getting lots of buds.
As i walked back up the garden for a well earned cuppa, Wilbur caught my eye, sat with his feet up…its alright for some!!!

You got some hard work done then! Your flowers look very nice indeed! What will you do with so many plums - make plum jam? Lol!
the Fuchsias look fabulous! They look like Eva Boerg. I've got a few plants in my hanging baskets on the balcony.
Great photo of Wilbur, the flowerpot man!
