i delete them unless there is something important i need to keep on one, that way its not so many to go through,

I intend to delete them but have over two hundred at mo!! and not enough time, Lol.

Thank you for your encouragement Terra, and for your advice San. That's the trouble, Grandma - I have 249 at the moment, and STARTED to delete them, but every time you do it the page clicks back to the start!!

I think I will put on some inspiring music and get on with it . . .

I delete them as its much easier to just keep the pending ones only.

Sheila do you have Microsoft office word. If you do make a folder for Goy messages and you can copy and paste the ones you want to keep and delete the others.

I've been having fun - am down to 196 now(!), but it's been fascinating reading so many messages that I'd completely forgotten.

Sheila I have 252!! and I did spend some time deleting but as you say, it is a chore!!........backwards & forwards.

Never thought of deleting mine before, so maybe i will now!!

As usual I am very inefficient and haven't deleted any!

Yorkshire and Sheila left click on the mouse, hold it down and highlight the part you want to copy, then right click or use the icon for copy, when you get to the place you want it copied click the icon for paste in the tool bar. Sorry I cant pop round to show you.

If everyone deleted all there unwanted messages, blogs etc would the site get quicker?

Good question, I imagine it's more likely that our own computers are what are slowed down by all the messages, rather than the site??

I feel so much better now after reading these comments as I cannot copy and paste either, I`ve been shown so many times but still can`t do it, DUH.
My nightmare, the bit that shows what I`ve commented on, it takes ages to scroll down, I try and clear it, give up, comments get ever longer...

It's the one thing i don't like on here deleting things, it takes ages doesn't it going back and forth, maybe someday there will be a little tick box that you tick if you want to delete then just click delete all and the ones you tick will disappear!

Thank you Daylily, Lin and Sewingk . . . great to know I'm not the only one having a bit of a struggle with technology . . . still, at least we're pretty good at gardening! Phew. :))

I go through my messages every day and delete those I don't want to keep, so that I don't get a build up of them. It only takes a couple or so minutes a time doing it this way.

I've just started deleting but as I have over 1300 I think it's an impossible task! You can have them all deleted on request and I think I may have to do this as really there's no point in keeping them. Then I shall try and be tidy and delete as I go like you Marie, keeping anything still relevant......well that's the plan anyway. lol

I had nearly 700 in my box, took me a week to sort them out, now I delete them once I have replied, thanks Sticki, will give copy and paste another go,

Gosh girls ! and I thought I had loads!!! Lol.

It is a pain, would be so much easier if we could delete multiples of a page at a time.
