Yes, Sue, we are very lucky to have Acers in our garden, but I only know the name of two!
So . . . is there an Acer expert in the house, lol?
Acer griseum (peeling bark Acer)
no name . .
no name . .
no name . .
no name . .
still no name!
Acer Bloodgood!
Phew. Hope you’re having a better day, Sue. x

Beautiful colours there and I love the fact that you don't know the names of all of them. Makes me feel better since there are few trees in my garden that I can name, in fact I have no idea how most of them got there! Birds I guess.

All lovely.
The third picture could be "Aconitifolium" and the 2 next are acers dissectums (lace leaf) but I would not know which ones.

They are fabulous and definitely up-cheering! (especially nos 5 & 6)What a kind thought - thank you Sheila! I did try growing a Bloodgood once but it only lasted a couple of years before the wind here did for it. I won't doom another one to the same fate...
