Don't miss out!

Yesterday my OH bought the latest issue of my favourite gardening magazine, Garden Answers (April issue, would you believe?!).
There are no less than EIGHT packets of seed given away, including the wonderful Agrostemma with white and pink, Forget-me-Not ‘Blue ball’, Cosmos ‘Versailles Tetra’, Poppy ‘Candyfloss’, Centaura dealbata, Sweet Rocket ‘Lilac’, Nasturtium ‘Cherry Rose Jewel’ and Californian Poppy ‘mission bells’.
There is even an article about woodland flowers for shade . . . just what Dawnsaunt wants!
Highly recommended reading to cheer you up while it’s sleeting outside . . .

That’s great Shirley. Hope you like it as much as I do . . . very few glossy ads for one thing!

Sheila, I enjoyed looking through the magazine, especially the feature gardens of other folk, nosey me! I hope to buy seed compost tomorrow to start sowing the Feb to March ones ...

Lovely Shirley! Don't we all enjoy looking at other people's gardens? That's why I started our local gardening group: with 30 members we view one each week, then chat over tea and biscuits . . . good fun.
Our landscapers are hard at work, but say it will be at least three weeks until they finish - and THEN I'll be able to catch up with seed sowing :)

Those three weeks will fly by Sheila ... and the end result will be SO worth it!
Today we visited a well known German supermarket (the one beginning with A) and were surprised at how many gardening products/items were on sale at very reasonable prices. I bought some seed propagators, two packs of Gladiolus bulbs and the seed compost I had gone there for!
There were packets of seeds, not that I really need any more, really low prices too.

Sounds like a satisfying day out, Shirley :)
