July already!

I suddenly decided to take a few photos, completely forgetting that I am an incompetent photographer . . . either that or I wasn’t able to keep the camera steady :)
Not to worry, here are just a few shots of what I’m enjoying in my garden . . .
Dish by the greenhouse with fuchsia, Verbena Sissinghurst pink and Calabrachoa magenta; raised bed with Geraniums; on the right Agapanthus and front right Loropetalum chinense.
Gosh, it really is blurred – sorry – it’s not your eyesight!
Acer ‘orange dream’ (I think)
Dwarf Copper Beech, bought from a small independent nursery’s ‘bargain’ shelf five years ago for £3.99. It was looking sorry for itself but it just needed some TLC
Favourite Clematis Sieboldii
Happy gardening everyone, and stay safe.

We all do the blur sometimes! All the plants are lovely - especially the Acers and the dwarf copper beech - how big does it grow eventually?
Wales is open at last so we are looking forward to a visit from our son in a few weeks time!

yes... I know exactly what you mean, Sheilabub! I love the pic of the copper beech... and everything is looking so healthy and well cared for. congrats!

Many thanks Eileen.
Sue, good news about your son! I won’t let the copper beech get much bigger ... I like it as a dwarf tree 🙂.
That’s kind of you, Lori, thank you.
Thanks Julia ... glad you like the dish. I was so happy to find it as I’d been looking for a while.

Don't apologise for the blurred pictures, they're excellent! Your garden is beautiful.

I've always fancied loropetalum, is it hardy ? Such a beauty. You have a lovely garden Sheila:-)

Thanks very much Julia!
Ba thank you. I put my Loropetalum in the greenhouse during the cold months - it’s in a pot so that it can be moved as it’s tender 😕.

No greenhouse here, not got the room. Maybe I could bring him into my garage which is not too dark, I've over wintered some delicate plants in there before. They are beautiful:-)

I agree with Julia, I like the wide dish with flowers in at the front of the greenhouse, it’s a pretty display idea. Your acer is looking very attractive too! The clematis is a pretty colour!

Most of my photo's look a bit blurred to me ,sometimes,Sheila..but then again I just have to point ,click and hope for the best ! lol.I love your Orange Dream, and also your pretty dish.I didn't see any Calabrachoa this year, but managed to save a White one from last year. You wouldn't think your garden is fairly new,as it looks so well established already.I love it all too .:o)

That’s so kind Sandra, thank you 🙂.

Sheila, I hope my Acer 'Orange Dream' grows to look as good as yours. It seemed to be at a standstill so I changed the soil to Ericaceous, rather than a mix of garden soil and compost and put it in a slightly bigger pot, pleased to say it's actually putting growth on.
The Clematis Sieboldii is stunning!

That sounds perfect Shirley! Mine has never looked so good, and I think it must be because it’s in a sheltered corner, out of the pesky wind. Thanks for your comment🙂.

I often get blurred photos if I press the shutter too hard in my excitement of seeing something special. Usually birds/butterflies. I did have some excellently blurred ones of an impressive oak tree. I started to fall over!
Plants are looking good. As usual Sheila.
