Here's hoping

Just thought I would try taking photos with my camera instead of the iPad, and see if this works …
Prunus kojo-no mai
Hellebore, one of many, but the others rather low down for me to reach!

Wow – finally I can contribute a tiny blog to GoY – hope it lasts for a short while anyway. Big relief :))

Very pretty Sheila, I know everyone is writing descriptive and interesting blogs but its good to have the photo's as well... I'm also keeping my fingers xx..

Welcome back Sheila and I think you may have solved the problem by actually using a camera.
Lovely photos.

Well done Sheila! Lovely Hellebore too.

Thanks everyone. If it’s sunny tomorrow I will try again with a few more shots … looking forward to sharing a bit more 🙂.

Loving your spring blooms and blossom!

Many thanks Kate!

It's lovely to see (& I mean SEE!) your lovely flowers! They've lasted 3 days at present so lets hope they last forever now!

Yes indeed Balcony, let’s hope so!

Sheila your pics have disappeared after 7 days intact as have all mine in my blogs but stayed in my photos.

So I see Sue - how maddening is that?! And I thought my troubles were over … what a puzzle. Glad you’ve kept some of yours,
22 Mar, 2022
It had to be too good to last, didn't it! 😥 It's a real shame that after a few days they should disappear again! 😥

I am finding it so annoying now - the time has come for me to think seriously about bothering to take photos for GoY any longer.
23 Mar, 2022
That’s how I felt Shirley - until it worked again!
23 Mar, 2022
Before the problem with the photos not showing up or disappearing after a few days I was thinking of writing a few blogs again but now I don't think I will until the day they fix these problems - if they ever do.

It’s a shame, isn’t it Balcony? The site has been so user-friendly for so long and now we’re all feeling discouraged 🙁.

I have to say I'm disappointed that the founders, Peter and Ajay, didn't have the forethought to hand the site over to somebody else when they knew they were leaving it.
Having 'spoken' via PM to some GoY members, it seems we would be happy to pay an annual fee to keep it going. Anybody else agree with that?
24 Mar, 2022
Shirley I definitely would, being saying for years that I wish Ajay and Peter had tried that in the first place instead of leaving, we had a lot of members in those days and I'm sure it would have worked, its no different than paying a magazine subscription or come to that my book club for my Kindle....
24 Mar, 2022
Yes Shirley, I would be happy to pay if it meant we didn’t have these frustrating problems.
