The houseboats on the Kerala backwaters. (For Digginfit)
Note the water Hyacinth which is now clogging many of the rivers and estuaries.
Duck farming, the ducks just flock in the river and are herded, if that’s the right word, by the farmer in a canoe boat.

The swans are bathroom towels. Origami? Just upper and lower cotton sheets on beds, with a blanket in cupboard, if required.

Another great blog, aaaaw remember those towels when we went to Goa,every day they'd be in a different shape, brilliant, and the poor maids were paid a pittance relying on tips to make a living.

Simbad, this holiday complex is owned apparently by a Bollywood filmstar. I wonder if she escaped from the poverty trap, or just born into the right caste? Hope she takes regard of her staff!
