My Allotment

A quick look at the Iris on my allotment.
The water butts are on the next persons allotment, a tip!
Looking in the opposite direction. The sheds are not on my plot.
Looking to the right of the above pic, the bean frame has my Runner Beans on it.
The other side of the Beans, are Blackcurrant bushes and the corner has a few more Iris. All my own crosses.
Oh, and I have a Pidgeon problem there as well as at home, hence the windmill.

What an interesting selection you have built up there. You have patience! The veggies must be a 'second thought'

Nice and colourful :) and it's interesting to know you have crossed some yourself ...

Those pale blue ones in the last photo are a dream! No wonder people come and photograph them all. The irises you sent me a few years ago have spread well but they don't flower, I don't know why. I have only had one bloom all together. I make sure there is sun on the rhizomes but it makes no difference...

Yorkslass, you must not bury the rhizomes, feed with, for instance, blood, fish and bone, not too high in nitrogen or you will get lots of green grow and sparce flowering.
