It looks perfect , that's how you dream summers should be , a table laden with food children running wild without a care in the world .. it's how it should be ... !

I just thought the same as Karensusan! I was going to say that you were still in France, but had just moved on to Provence! It all looks perfectly idyllic, a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, jealous? Moi?! ;0)
Hope you're feeling better!

thank you everyone for the wonderful comments..and good wishes..my 'illness' was short lived..a bit of man flu and tiredness so nothing too serious and nothing a rest after this day didnt put right..but thank you..
one thing i adore is entertaining, and this place is ideal..i knew i had quite a few visitors arriving on my return from France but everything went superbly..and yes its a great place to be and eat and have fun..
It felt like Italy with the sun and food and everyone enjoyed it..if i thought anyone would come I would throw a GOY summer luncheon
Thanks again everyone for their supportive comments..

Won't get me in a plane, i'd rather walk! A bomb scare was the thing that eventually put me off flying!
13 May, 2011
Yep, that would really make you think twice next time Lulu, but it's a shame really, as it means they have won!

Your luncheon table looks so inviting with its variety of chairs and amongst your plants/gravel area. Love it :)
Pleased you are fully recovered now...hope there are lots of days of sunshine for you to share your gift of hospitality this spring/summer.

And there's me wanting a balloon ride! (just to see my garden from above!)
16 May, 2011
Lulu that would be fantastic, what a veiw! You'd be able to see beyond your town/city. If you can.. go for it girl!
16 May, 2011
You would have to travel down, come hold my hand in the balloon....and then we would go have a big slap up meal and party at Skippy's home and sleep in tents!
Actually, forget the balloon ride because I am not really brave enough (From a bungee jumping girl?!)...
