Naturally enhanced wood:
By stroller

Seeing silverbels blog on her wood purchases and having comments on my Rabbit I thought I would share some of the pieces my OH has found and naturally enhanced by cleaning and beeswaxing.
The contortionist.
The Fighting Hare;
The kiss:
Ready for Flight:
The old Croc:
They are quite time consuming but I think well worth it.

Absolutely wonderful, I've not seen anything like them. They really do resemble things. It must take a lot more than Bees wax.

Fascinating... and with clever, appropriate names for each piece...

Think they are beautiful - how long does it take to restore? Must be an awful lot of effort, but totally unique. Well worthy of display space :o)

Stroller, these are wonderful works of art and I should think that OH is very proud of them, and rightly so. He must have a very keen eye to be able to see the potential in the pieces in the first place. So forget the price I paid for mine, in a few years time they'll be gone; OH should be able to get a lot more than £2.50 for these. Like I said, 'Good Luck OH with your new project', you certainly have a fine talent there.

Thank you Lab and Sanbaz ......... trouble is when we go walking around the lanes he`s always got his nose in some hedgerow or another and it takes us hours to walk through the wood near us .......... still I`m not complaining.
