THE CHATTING SEAT Re -vamped.

Making the most of todays sunshine I decided to get hubby to do a make-over on the garden seat he made for me in November 2009 from an old singer sewing machine.
It looked rather old and tired so once again hubby came to the rescue and took off the pieces of trellis from the sides of the seat and added a back and( arms so I can put my coffee down) my new chat seat emerges.
We added new trellis on top of the fence and I planted a new honeysuckle Lonicera `copper beauty` to climb up and over the top leaving windows for us to chat through.
All in all a very productive day – awwwwwwww what next Paul our neighbour has just asked if I want a wrought iron gate …..
Happy days everyone.

What a good bit of recycling. The seat looks as if it will be very comfortable for you to sit and have a cuppa. Keep up the good work.

That looks fantastic. Well done OH on the changes you made, great to have a different look. They say a change is as good as a rest! It certainly is for me. Like it lots.

Karen the weather seems to have turned rather in the last few days, so I`m just mulling over what to do with the gate.
As you say Marek its good to recycle where possible.
Mavis, Olive, I just love changes especially when it makes good use of old objects.
Thanks TT.
That made me laugh Sandra, hope you don`t think i`m an old queen lol. Mind you I do need to sit a lot these days.
