Stormy weather!

I’ve just come in from checking the plants inside my plastic greenhouse. This was bought for me as extra space as my other 2 glass ones are full.
I was sure it would be gone this morning after listening to the gale force winds all night, but no, it was still there.
What I didn’t know was that it must have been “rocking and rolling” all night.
I have to see what I can salvage as the wind has obviously tried to take it away along with the plants in it.
What we have had down here in the south east is nothing compared to Scotland and the north west plus parts of the south coast so I’m not complaining.
I’ve watched the news most of the night so have seen some of the damage.

Looks like we're all being battered and bruised by various elements at the moment. Hope you can rescue some of those plants.

We have had very high winds here in Scotland. I just hate it but you have had more damages than we have had in our garden. I had a lot of twigs and branches to pick up but that was all.

Stormy here in South Wales my bird feed which is very sturdy and as never moved but last night it did but luckily no damaged to it . Hope you are all safe and snug but it's awful lying in bed listing to the wind and wondering what damage its doing :-(

What a shame Thorneyside. Hopefully you will be able to have a tidy up and use most of the plants. Still quite windy up here, but not gale force, as it was yesterday.

Oh crumbs I hope you manage to save them, luckily mine is just a mass of twigs and small branches scattered around again, the wind has calmed down here today but so dull and dark....

Oh dear, I know exactly how you felt as I bought a plastic green house last year and the staging is attached to it. Even though it was staked well, it too rocked all night and all the pots had emptied on to the floor and I lost everything. Having downsized dramatically to where we are now and then had 3 green houses, I really miss growing my plants !

Very stormy and heavy rain here as well in Wuppertal....but as far as I´m concerned better than snow and ice.
