Thank you Jen so pleased you like the colours of the plants.

You seem to have something interesting around every corner. Like the Laburnum and the Clematis very much. Can't grow the latter in our garden. Well we have two trying their best over the years but they obviously would prefer to be somewhere else.

Thank you Eirlys shame your Clematis don't grow well for you I always found when I had a lots the damp shaded side of my garden they gee far better than the sunny dry side of my garden I also place a piece of slate over their foot they do like water feet in the shade head in the sun. Some clematis grow just at the tops some all the way up.

You have some beautiful plants tucked in there, not just the obvious ones, the pom pom Alliums, but the more discreet Maidenhair Fern, London Pride and Arabis (?).
My potato vine romped away last year and grew out the top of the old Leylandii hedge, a real picture. My Laburnum is now starting to shed it's petals but has been a real picture just like yours.

What a lovely well cared for garden, you have so much to admire and enjoy. Is the clematis "Gilian Blades" the big white one I think its the same as the one I have and it seems to be doing particularly well this year.

27 May, 2018

Thank you Stroller. The Clematis is Guernsey cream which is more cream than the pure white of your Gilian Blades . So good yours is doing so well this year I think its all the rain we ve had this one has done better this year than previous years.

Thank you Terratoonie.

No problem put your self and jobs first thats what is important Terratoonie while you ve got this good weather as none of us are getting younger and you need time to enjoy it all too. Your doing a grand job ☺ xxx

Thanks for the encouragement, 3d. As soon as the weather looks more sure of long sunny spells, I'll be out there again.. so much to do ... and, yes, as we get older, tasks take longer and they seem far more exhausting !

30 Jul, 2018

Your welcome Terratoonie.

They have said the sunny days will be back soon but how long they have nt said. We dont get much time really to get things done with our weather do we but we ve have had a longer run of dry weather this year.
Yes tasks do tske longer and exhausting just dooing my dinner does it for me so slow but sure is best now we are getting older just make sure you dont over do it and make your self ill. ☺

Yes, bad weather does limit our garden tasks... but, as you say, we have been lucky lately, with the long dry days. Today was still rather windy but I've made a bit more progress on the sheds. Outdoor temperatures are warming up, but I'm working steadily.

Only just seen your photos. Lovely clear pics. Like all your beautiful plants & the statues must add a lot interest. I always wonder why photos are put on my news late when they were first put on by you in May. Is it because I missed them first time round?
