Rescued Rhododendrons

I got some more weed control fabric, from the pound shop for the areas that i,m going to cover and also picked up some weedkiller, plastic lawn edging and a Rasperry plant, oh and a pair of hand shears.. all for a pound each…. Bargain gardening at it’s best..lol
In my work we have some Rhododendrons with beautiful pink flowers and white flowers that i,d admired and I noticed that there were a couple growing at the back of one of the power sheds where we dump old gardening material, amongst some old bushes and weeds, and they looked quite shabby.
I rescued them both, one pink and one white and brought them home this morning, soaked the ballroots for a while and replanted them into two containers in the back garden.
They surprisingly look quite nice and with a bit of green fingered care they should turn out to be a lovely addition to the garden.

You could try using Sequestred Iron as a feed. These acid loving plants will do well with it. (Did you plant with ericaceous soil?)
