Garden visitors.

I put some solar lights into the back garden and was standing at my back door looking at them when I noticed a couple of bats flying about.
i shouted to my wife to come and see them, just as she got to the back door one of the bats flew down and almost came into the house. should have seen both of us jump..lol.
During the day I took a photo of this wee chap too, seemed to look up at me as I took the pic.

We have bats in our belfry! Or, rather, in the apex of the roof. It's brilliant to watch them jinking about in the sky in the evenings avoiding the interest of the Martins, but catching their share of the insects. Lovely creatures! Love the photo of your cricket.
